Need an excuse to exercise on Thanksgiving Day? How about running, walking, skipping, jumping, trotting for a cause? Come join your neighbors and friends onThursday November 22nd at 8:30 am for the Annual Peregrine Turkey Trot around the Woodmen Loop.
The Trot will start and finish at Mount St. Francis. Come dressed in your favorite costume, bring the family and your canine friends to enjoy some quality time in the great outdoors! You can choose to trot, run, or walk. It is up to you!

Arrive at 8:30 a.m. for the costume contest, there will be Trot prizes awarded for:
- Best dressed dog(s)
- Best dressed adult, young or old
- Best dressed boy and girl – not from the same family
- Best dressed ‘stroller/ baby carrier’ with a little one inside
Please join us in supporting the Colorado Springs Care and Share Food Bank by participating in the fifth annual Peregrine Turkey Trot. All of your donations will go directly to the Colorado Springs Care and Share program to help those in need and “bridge the gap between hunger and abundance.” Last year this event was recognized by Care and Share as 2017 Hunger’s Hope Award. Sydney Barnes said, “It is such a nice recognition for the generosity of the Colorado Springs community to help those in need.”

WHERE: The Woodmen Loop. Trot begins in the Northwest parking lot of Mt. St.
Francis, next to Stonehaven.
COST: There is no defined cost to this event; please donate at will. Donations will
be collected on the day of the event. Cash and check only, please.
