Walking in our neighborhood is a stress-relieving activity…. until you step in dog excrement! While the majority of pet owners are responsible and pick up after their pets, there are still piles of poop on sidewalks and other common areas in the neighborhood. Remember that poop not only smells, but it is also unhealthy for the landscape, water, and other animals that may encounter it. For all of these reasons, Colorado Springs and Peregrine have covenants in place that require immediate owner collection of the waste. Our beautiful neighborhood also invested in 14 pet stations in various locations across Peregrine (see map below) to help pet owners manage this problem. Our pet stations are a benefit to all who reside in the neighborhood and enjoy outdoor activities. Please remember to use these stations when taking your pet for a relaxing walk.
