Kim and her husband Kevin, moved to Colorado Springs from Woodland Park in 2003. They have 4 teenagers, 3 Sophomores in college and a Junior at Air Academy High School. Kim has a B.S. in Public Relations/Communications from the University of Florida and earned her Masters in 2016, from UCCS, with certifications in non-profit funding and management. She has worked as a Program Manager on DoD contracts, supporting AFSPC, since 1997 and is also actively involved in the local non-profit community. Kim serves as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), El Paso County Commissioner and Treasurer for the Human Relations Commission, and a volunteer for the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, All Breed Rescue and Training, and Urban Peak. She likes to stay busy…In their ‘free time’ Kim and Kevin enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. They’ve recently been signing up for monthly 5K events that support our local Colorado Springs community organizations…he runs…Kim walks!
