David, Whitney, and their three sons, Avery (UC Boulder, Class of ’24), Bennett, and Hugh, moved to Colorado Springs in 2017. After initially living on Fort Carson they found Peregrine and fell in love with the community and schools. Peregrine was where they decided to finally put down roots after a successful and rewarding 20-year career as an Army Officer.
During his military career, David and Whitney lived in seven different states. He served 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and was assigned to the Department of State in Washington D.C. and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) in Colorado Springs.
David’s youngest son is diagnosed with a catastrophic form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. Colorado has proven to be an ideal location for his medical needs.
David now serves as a Financial Planner specializing in retired and active military, federal employees, and families with special needs. He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point (Go Army!) and a Master of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
