Jim, Robin and their two sons, Tim and Nate, moved to Colorado Springs from RAF Mildenhall, England in 2011. Jim served just short of 25 years active duty Air Force and retired in 2022. During this time they enjoyed three non-consecutive Colorado Springs assignments, others at various US bases, and overseas tours in Japan, Germany and England. Jim completed year-long deployments and remote tours in Iraq, northern Greenland and the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He retired from the Air Force as Director of Staff for headquarters Space Operations Command (US Space Force), worked for the Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation and is now an Assistant Director for the Colorado Springs Airport. Tim and Nate serve in the US Marine Corps and US Air Force, respectively, and enjoy seeing friends from their Air Academy high school time when in town.
Before his military career, Jim spent six years as a San Diego County Park Ranger, where he and Robin met. They enjoy all sorts of outdoor Colorado activities and are thrilled to call Peregrine home.
