Peregrine Alert – Suspicious Character And Break-In NW Peregrine

Dear Peregrine Residents:

This alert is to notify you of a suspicious individual who has been roaming our neighborhoods. He is in his late 20s, Caucasian, brown hair with a beard and mustache. He appears to be 6 ft. tall with a thin build and wearing a black fleece, olive green pants and brown boots. He was last seen on the backside of properties on Blodgett Drive.

The individual described above trespassed through the backyard of a resident’s home and took an item. When confronted by the homeowner, he refused to comply. Possibly related to this, a home on Bluffview Way had a garage broken into last week.

The above information and events have been reported to the Colorado Springs Police Department. They indicate that burglars tend to break into a home without anything in their hands. Once inside they gather containers (suitcase, pillowcase, etc.) that are then used to transport what they have stolen.

Of course it is important to be vigilant, as one Peregrine neighbor was in this case. If you are to see this individual, please contact the CSPD.  We recommend you not attempt to detain or confront this individual. Photos, however, are most useful along with any other information that you can share with the CSPD.

Respectfully,
Your PMA Safety and Security Team
