Earth Day Weekend Events
In recognition of the upcoming Earth Day Weekend (April 22-April 24, 2022), and in
coordination with Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation, the Friends of Peregrine Parks, Friends of Palmer Park, and Friends of Ute Valley are planning a combined workday event to support high priority projects at each of these three Friends sites and we encourage all individuals to join! The plan is to perform major trail activities at:
* Blodgett Open Space — Friday, April 22 – 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
( Meet at South Blodgett parking lot –We will be working trail restoral and closures in that area.)

* Palmer Park – Saturday, April 23– 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

* Ute Valley (Sunday) 4/24– – Ute Valley Park – Sunday, April 24 – 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Please join your neighbors and meet new friends at one or all of these events! Several local breweries will be donating a FREE BEER to anyone over the age of 21 who volunteers for one of these locations/days. This is an excellent opportunity to get some of our most needed projects out of the way early in the season with combined work forces from the three Friends groups.
